My Design Journey
I am currently the Founding Product Designer at SketchPro.ai, building an AI-powered image generation tool tailored for architectural designers. Before joining SketchPro, I earned a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, which followed three years of experience as an architectural designer in NYC.
My Core Values
Transitioning from architecture to product design has proven my adaptability, not only because it involved a shift in industry, but also because I moved from working at a large corporate firm to an early stage startup. At SketchPro.ai, I wear many hats and have quickly demonstrated my ability to take on diverse responsibilities and deliver impactful results.
Working in the emerging tech domain has also trained me to thrive in ambiguity. I tackle design challenges with a curious mindset, focusing on rapid prototyping and learning from early-stage feedback to iterate swiftly.
Most importantly, I take pride in my ability to balance collaboration with independence. As the sole designer among engineers at SketchPro, I’ve developed strong communication skills for sharing and defending my work with stakeholders. At the same time, I am comfortable navigating extreme ambiguity and working independently with minimal guidance.
For Fun
In my free time, I find joy and comfort in experimenting in the kitchen. I see cooking as another creative outlet; it is simply art in a different medium.
Here is an archive where I started to document some fun things that I made. I also enjoy drawing. Some of the pieces are included below. ↓
